I was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. I studied at the Art Center in Los Angeles, California, and graduated from Boise State University with a degree in art education. I retired from a career with Morrison Knudsen and its subsidiaries, and now live and paint in the Treasure Valley.
My interests include traveling the country photographing aging barns, homesteads, towns, landscapes, classic cars, and whatever else spikes my interest. These photographs are the starting point for much of my work. Primarily, I paint in acrylics on watercolor paper or canvas. I also venture into the worlds of pottery, pen and ink drawing, and photography.
