Each piece is created as a little work of art.
My custom jewelry, art dishes, night lights, and sun catchers reflect my love of nature, form, color, and design.
Born in rural Vermont, my early memories were of gentle mountains, maple sugar, and wild flowers. My school years were in Massachusetts often exploring rocky beaches by Marblehead Harbor where sea shells, sail boats and Islands captured my imagination. These were the roots of my design ideas.
In the early 1970s, I earned a BFA degree at Boston University, painting and sculpting the human figure. A few years later I travelled west and settled in Idaho where I later studied education & graphics at University of Idaho.
Fast forwarding to 2011, I retired from 26 years at the Idaho State Tax Commission. I wanted to be an artist again and discovered Fusions Glass Studio in Eagle, Idaho where I fell in love with kiln formed fused glass. I now have my own kiln and glass studio at home. I display and sell my glass art in Boise and Eagle.
